Standard shipping for most bridal gowns is four to six months. Because bridal gowns are not ready to wear, all brides require alterations for an ideal fit. We recommend allotting three months for alterations, totaling nine to twelve months from your YES! moment to your wear date. If your wedding is less than 6-9 months away, we invite you to give us a call so we can talk through various quick shipping options. In addition, all of our gowns can be purchased and taken home the same day! 

We have dresses in a variety of sizes ranging from 8 – 34 in boutique, with more than 130 dresses sampled in sizes 16 – 34! Keep in mind: bridal sizes run slightly smaller than regular clothing, so if you are usually a size 10 in casual wear, you would probably wear a size 12-14 in bridal dresses.

Our designers recommend ordering gowns to the size indicated by the bride's fullest measurement in the designer's size chart. Your stylist will measure you and recommend the most appropriate size based on your measurements at the time of ordering; however, size choice is ultimately the bride’s decision. It is important to remember that wedding dresses are not ready to wear and generally require alterations to achieve the desired fit.

We do not provide alterations, but we do recommend using The Alteration Shoppe, as they have been the preferred alterations specialist for nearly 10 years. 

The seamstresses at The Alteration Shoppe specialize in bridal alterations, and are experienced in customizations such as sleeves, straps, neckline changes, and more. The cost of alteration services is dependent upon the fabric of the gown, design details of the gown, silhouette and style of the gown, and customer preferences related to fit and customization. All fittings will be scheduled directly through The Alteration Shoppe by calling (504) 218-5994. The Alteration Shoppe is located at 3225 Danny Park Suite 201 in Metairie.

We offer two payment options: partial or full. The partial payment is 60% of the total ticket price, plus a one-time in-house financing fee of $100. The remaining balance can be paid in person or online through the portal, and must be paid within 14 days of the merchandise arriving to the boutique. We accept all types of cards and cash. Please note that any items taken home the same day as the purchase must be paid in full.

Absolutely! All of our gowns are available for purchase off the rack and taken home same day. All merchandise purchased from our in-stock inventory will need to be paid in full at the time of purchase.

We offer various appointment types to accommodate different sized parties. Our standard, complimentary bridal appointments can accommodate up to four guests in addition to the bride. Upgraded appointment types are also available. Visit our appointments page to learn more about our offerings! 

We know that shopping for your wedding gown is a once in a lifetime experience shared with your closest family and friends! In addition to your entourage, we recommend wearing seamless nude undergarments. Shape wear is not required, but does change the fit of your gown. If you plan to wear it on your wedding day, be sure to pack some. All of our gowns have built-in bust cups and support, so no strapless bra is required!

Our Standard and Luxe bridal appointments are 90 minutes, while our VIB Semi-Private and VIB Private appointments are two hours. We offer a full-service bridal shopping experience, so your stylist will be sure to make the most of your time with us as we find your gown!

Please arrive on time for your appointment. In most cases, we have appointments immediately prior to and immediately following your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, we will need to reschedule.

Prior to booking, you can view our entire live inventory on the wedding dresses tab of our website! After you book your appointment, you will receive a link to view your profile in our client portal. Here, you can browse our live inventory with pricing, add gowns to your favorites, and make changes to your appointment. You will also be able to make payments and view the status of your order after you have said, “Yes!”

After your gown and accessories have arrived, you will receive a phone call from our team to schedule a pick up and try on appointment. If you have not yet selected accessories, this is a great time to let our stylists help you finalize your wedding day look!
