Alan and Melissa

Founded by Melissa in 2009, the pair have built a business that serves as a pillar in the New Orleans bridal community. Shortly after opening, Melissa's father, Alan joined the business and formed the team's favorite dynamic duo!

Meet Our Team

Melissa | Owner

Our fearless leader who rocks "adult chic"! I opened the bridal boutique in 2009, just after becoming a bride myself. I've always enjoyed leading women, whether as a cheer captain, board chair, or ministry leader.

As CEO, founder, buyer, and staff developer, supporting our team and brides is the best part of my job! I love the creative side of fashion, helping brides bring their vision to life, and running a multi-million-dollar business.

Outside of MaeMe, I’m a football mom to Harrison, gymnastics mom to Emory, and chasing after Norah! My furry baby Pearl also serves in our HR department. My husband and I enjoy date nights with friends, traveling, reading, red wine, and I’ve recently taken up running!

Alan | Owner

Everyone’s bonus dad, “Mr. Alan!” I joined Melissa in her business a few years after she started the company. From finances and data to building our champagne tap, I do a little bit of everything! I currently serve as CFO, and I’m never too far from my spreadsheets.

Outside of MaeMe, I spend most of my time with my wife, Jeannine, and our wonderful grandchildren. I love cocktails, wine, and travel

Stephanie | Operations Manager

The bridal mastermind! My bridal journey began almost two decades ago as a Bridal Stylist. From there, I quickly moved up to Sales Manager, and now with MaeMe as Operations Manager for the last 7 years. I work one on one with our designers to ensure every detail for each of our brides is a perfect from start to finish. I love spearheading new ways to streamline our procedures to be the most efficient and effective they can be. From custom designing a gown for a bride to mastering QuickBooks, I never know what to expect from my day, and I love it! Being behind the scenes and getting to see all the moving parts that go into each bride's journey is my favorite thing about my job.

Outside of MaeMe, I love to spend time with my family, especially my nephews and nieces, both human and furry. The introvert in me loves a good text conversation and a drive to nowhere at 2am. You will never catch me turning down the opportunity to snag some sushi or an iced coffee. I also love to travel and hope to get back to crossing places off my bucket list!

Marisa | Marketing

Our resident New Orleans girl, I entered the fashion world after graduating from Louisiana State University. Inspired by strong female leaders from my Mount Carmel days to sorority life, I found my home at MaeMe four years ago, constantly inspired by industry leaders and the incredible brides we meet.

In my Marketing, Business Development, and Buying role, I love helping brides experience the magic of finding their wedding dress. Whether it’s photo shoots, social media, or our in-store experience, I’m always dreaming up something big for our brides.

Outside of MaeMe, I enjoy time with my niece and nephews, my husband, and our sassy kitty. We love exploring new restaurants, wines, and locally roasted coffee. I express myself through my outfits because life’s too short not to wear what makes you happy!

Kaylee | Sales Manager

The Georgia girl turned Louisianan! My passion for fashion and clothing construction has shaped my career, from cruise ships to theater and film. I pursued this interest while earning my master's at Tulane, which brought me to New Orleans, and I joined the MaeMe team soon after graduation. I love working in bridal and feel blessed to be part of such an inspiring group of women.

As the sales manager on our leadership team, I enjoy getting to know our brides and their parties as they find their dream gown while supporting our stylists on the sales floor. Making a bride's day makes my day!

Outside of MaeMe, you’ll find me listening to true crime podcasts, going on beach trips, and working on art projects. I’m a fan of good cocktails and great food—I’ve been exploring the top spots since moving to NOLA. I'm also an avid traveler with a growing pin collection from 48 countries and counting!

Dasia | Stylist

MaeMe’s firecracker! I entered bridal three years ago after encouragement from our owner, Melissa, whom I’ve known for years through our church. She saw more potential in me than just babysitting! I quickly fell in love with MaeMe and can’t imagine a life without brides and celebrating the magic here.

I love creating wedding dresses that help brides achieve the fairytale moments they've dreamed of since childhood. It brings me joy to witness families showering their brides with love and support as they radiate happiness in their wedding dresses. I thrive on customizing looks to match each bride's vision, even when she can’t quite find the words. Recently, I’ve enjoyed mixing fabrics and textures to create simple yet elegant drama!

Outside of MaeMe, you can find me reading, playing pickleball, spending time at my church, or wrapping up my final semester at school. I love kitties, mozzarella sticks, avocado toast, and iced vanilla lattes!

Norah | Stylist

The coolest girl we know! I joined the MaeMe team two years ago after my family friend turned mentor, Melissa, invited me to explore the bridal world after graduating from Mandeville High. I am so thankful that she brought me into a team that quickly became my closest friends!

I am currently a stylist, and love to be a part of such a big moment in my bride’s lives. I love learning about my bride’s love stories while creating their wedding day look. It's the people I meet and the relationships I form that keep me coming back for more! Currently, I am in love with the classic and elegant looks–especially the peek-a-boo lace necklines!

Outside of MaeMe, I love to online shop or go on a Target run. I’ll never be too far from coffee or a Dr. Pepper, and I’m always down for some chips and dip!

Elise | Stylist

Our resident bride! I joined the MaeMe team two years ago upon recommendation by another stylist. Joining my friend at her bridal appointment turned into my favorite career move to date!

I am currently a stylist, and am truly head over heels for the moments I share with my brides. I love to create custom looks for their wedding days, and I feel lucky to walk with them during such a momentous journey in their lives. Many of my brides have quickly turned into my close friends! Currently, I am loving basque waistlines, peek-a-boo details, and all things romance and drama.

When I’m not at MaeMe, I’m planning my own wedding or serving at my church. I’m definitely a foodie–my current favorite is the Honey Lavender Latte from French Truck, some really good ramen, or sour candy!

Gabby | Stylist

Our sweetheart! I joined the bridal world as a stylist nearly two years ago when I was looking for a career that seemed creative and fun, and my roommate, Dasia, encouraged me to come work alongside her at MaeMe. I quickly fell in love with all things bridal, and love helping brides create their wedding day looks!

I love walking with my brides as I help them find confidence in themselves along their dress shopping journey. It is so much more than just a pretty dress, and it is so fulfilling to help brides feel like their best selves!

If I’m not at MaeMe, you can find me studying for my masters in Social Work, drinking way too much coffee, spending time outdoors, or shopping. My current favorite bridal look is the Hailey Bieber look!
